CLE Block 2 Semester 1 English 2023/24

Welcome to CLE!

This course will prepare you for your life both outside of, and after, high school. You will explore:

Unit One: Getting to Know Yourself and My Blueprint (15%)

• Where you have been and where you want to go.  Providing the framework.

Unit Two: Career Exploration (15%)

•  Exploring the world of careers and what it takes to achieve them.

Unit Three: Exploring Education (15%)

• What you need to graduate and to go on and do what you want after you leave high school.

Unit Four: Employment Readiness (15%)

• The tools you need to look for, get and keep a job.

Unit Five: Workplace Safety (15%)

• What you need to know to keep you safe and protect your rights on the job.

Unit Six: Health and Well-being (15%)

• Healthy decision making and other topics that affect your general health and well-being.

Final Project:  Mini-Capstone  (10%)
