Over term 2 in English Language Arts we will be exploring the following content:

- Create paragraphs that have a topic sentence and supporting details

- Understand parts of speech with a focus on adjectives to aid in building descriptive language and expanding sentences

- Use common practices in punctuation (e.g., uses of the comma, quotation marks for dialogue, uses of the apostrophe in contractions); in capitalization in titles, headings, and subheadings; and in Canadian spelling and revision strategies
